Shanghai Hi-Tech Control System Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 365.850 million compared to CNY 303.148 million a year ago. Operating loss was CNY 8.057 million compared to CNY 19.138 million a year ago. Net loss was CNY 12.104 million compared to CNY 21.476 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.051 compared to CNY 0.0908 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.0506 compared to CNY 0.0908 a year ago.

The Company operates in three segments, including Intelligent Manufacturing segment, New Energy segment and Industrial Electrical Product Distribution segment. Intelligent Manufacturing segment mainly provides industrial automation and communication integration services and industrial automation and communication products. New Energy segment includes high-power electronic product business and new energy power station Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) business. Industrial Electrical Product Distribution segment is mainly involved in the distribution of industrial electrical and automation products. The Company operates its business mainly in domestic market.
