Science in Sport plc provided earnings guidance for the half year ended September 30, 2013. The Board reported another period of significant revenue growth with sales expected to be up 23%, compared with the same period last year, at approximately £3.95 million. Revenue growth in the half year has been driven by strong sales of isotonic gels, food bars and hydration tablets and reflects the company's on-going investment in product innovation, sales and marketing.

Pre-tax profits for the half year are expected to be in line with management expectations and the Board remains confident of the outlook for continued revenue growth in the full year.
