Sber Asset Management has begun managing HSE University's trust fund. Revenue from investing will go toward implementing programs and projects for the development of the university. The endowment is the management company's eighteenth trust fund.

HSE University's trust fund was established in 2008 and is one of the three largest university funds in Russia. It accepts donations from individuals and legal entities and invests the funds under a fiduciary management agreement.

The endowment consists of a number of sub-funds intended to support the work of various programs: research, scholarship and grant programs, the development of individual faculties and the university's lyceum, and support for outstanding graduates. The income of the sub-fund now under the management of Sber Asset Management will be used to support research into the processes that take place in the human brain and the development of cognitive functions.
