Roma (Meta) Group Limited provided earnings guidance for the six months ended 30 September 2022. For the period, it is expected that the Group may record a loss of not less than HKD 3.5 million attributable to owners of the Company for the Period, as compared with a profit of approximately HKD 0.8 million for the six months ended 30 September 2021. Based on the information available to the Company immediately preceding the publication of this announcement, the Board considers that the loss during the Period was mainly attributable to the decrease of approximately HKD 15.9 million in the revenue during the Period as compared with that for last corresponding period was mainly due to decrease in the number of projects engaged from the provision of valuation and advisory services segment; this decrease outweighed the impact of increase of approximately HKD 4.9 million in the Group's other income which was mainly derived from the one off gain of disposal of property, plant and equipment, government subsidies granted and management fee income generated during the Period and the impact of decrease of approximately HKD 5.9 million in the Group's other expense in which substantially derived from the drop of professional fee and consultancy fee during the Period.
