We are pleased to announce that Reddit has appointed our first VP of Ads Product, Jyoti Vaidee. Joining us from Google, where she spent over 11 years in senior roles leading ads products and monetization, Jyoti brings deep expertise in digital advertising to this newly-created role at Reddit. Most recently, she led product for Google's Display Ads business and was a founding PM for several ads innovations including Dynamic Product Ads. She also drove products across Google Shopping ads and Youtube, and prior to that worked on large scale consumer products including Outlook and Xbox at Microsoft.

Jyoti's two decades of product management and engineering experience make her uniquely poised to lead Reddit's Ads products as our business continues to scale globally. In her new role, Jyoti will drive ads product strategy, execution, and management of the Ads Product organization, which is core to Reddit's monetization engine.

"This is an exciting time for Reddit as a newly public company with so much untapped potential. The platform is leading the way in creating community and fostering authentic connections with very real commercial results," said Reddit's new VP of Ads Product, Jyoti Vaidee. "I'm looking forward to helping advance Reddit's ads business and driving increased value for users and advertisers alike."

Jyoti will report to Roelof van Zwol, who is taking on the expanded role of VP of Ads Product and Engineering. We will be saying goodbye to Shariq Rizvi who has led our Ads Product and Engineering org for more than five years as EVP of Ads Monetization. During this time, Shariq built Reddit's ads platform from the ground up, led pivotal acquisitions, and oversaw some of the most integral and foundational ads productlaunches in our business.

"Shariq's leadership over the last five years transformed Reddit's advertising solutions and experience. He has built a strong and enduring foundation for Reddit ads," said Reddit Chief Operating Officer, Jen Wong. "We wish Shariq every success for his next chapter and thank him for setting us up for success with ours. To that end, I am thrilled to welcome Jyoti to our team and know her unique experience will serve us well for Reddit's next phase of growth."

Jyoti holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Waterloo and a Masters in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan. In her spare time, you'll find her performing classical dance, spending time with her two daughters, or enjoying her favorite Reddit communities, r/classicalmusic and r/coffee. Jyoti starts at Reddit immediately and is based in the Bay Area.
