(NASDAQ: RMKR), a leading global e-Commerce software company that helps multi-national companies address the B2B market by maximizing sales revenue for their products and services, announced today that it has appointed Mallorie Burak as the company's Chief Financial Officer, effective January 24,
2013.
Ms. Burak will be responsible for all of the company's finance operations, which will be migrated to Rainmaker's Silicon Valley headquarters in Campbell, CA. Ms. Burak will succeed Timothy Burns, who is assisting with the finance migration from his office at the company's Austin,
Texas, facility. Upon the completion of the transition, Mr. Burns intends to leave the company to pursue other interests in the Austin area.
"Mallorie Burak is a highly capable and strategic CFO," said Rainmaker Chief Executive Officer Donald J. Massaro, who joined the company last month. "She will be central to a new executive team that is launching a comprehensive 2013 initiative designed to convert Rainmaker's technology leadership into market leadership. Our immediate goal is to quickly enable Rainmaker to leverage our Grow Commerce platform's extensive scale and achieve strong, sustainable growth and profitability. Our first action to pave the way for this initiative is to migrate finance operations currently residing in our Austin, Texas facility and bring them under one roof at corporate headquarters in Silicon Valley. We are especially grateful to Mallorie's Austin-based predecessor, Tim Burns, for helping to manage this transition. Tim has served admirably in a number of executive management roles at Rainmaker. With more than two decades of financial management, strategic insight and profitable growth experience, Ms. Burak officially assumes her duties on January 24. She will join Rainmaker from Foodlink, where she was Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Burak has worked with companies ranging from start-ups, to Fortune 500 global leaders. Under her leadership as Principal Financial Officer at Southwall Technologies, the company returned to profitability and strengthened its balance sheet significantly, enabling investment in new growth opportunities and global expansion. Before joining Southwall, she was Finance Director for the Communications Global Business Unit at Oracle Corporation. Prior to Oracle, Ms. Burak served as Director of Revenue at Portal Software (acquired by Oracle). She has also held various

financial management positions with Silicon Valley companies, including Hewlett Packard, TrueSAN Networks, and Zilog.
Ms. Burak holds an MBA and B.S. in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
