Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Commences Collaboration with Jasa Marga and Telkom to Allocate Laptops for the KPAI Award 2022

Jakarta (08/09) - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk and PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) donated 10 laptops in honor of National Children's Day 2022, that also supports the "Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) Award for the Year 2022." This award is sponsored by the KPAI.

This program is launched and actively supported by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, that provides the opportunity for SOEs to collaborate throughout to provide optimal welfare services to the Indonesian people.

On Monday (08/08), the Assistant Deputy for Social and Environmental Responsibility at the Ministry of SOEs, Edi Eko Cahyono, accompanied by Jasa Marga's Director of Human Capital & Transformation, Bagus Cahya A.B. and Senior Manager of TJSL Telkom, Bambang Febriansyah, personally presented this assistance to the Head of KPAI, Susanto, at the Ministry of SOEs Office in Jakarta.
This assistance will be given to the 2022 KPAI Award beneficiaries who have made a significant contribution to child protection, inclusive of the results of the report evaluation based on the Reporting Monitoring and Evaluation Information System (SIMEP).

Susanto, chairman of the KPAI, elaborated that the 2022 KPAI Awards include a variety of categories, such as Ministries/Institutions, Provincial/District/City Regional Governments, Regional Child Protection Commissions (KPAD), Inspirational Child Leaders, Children's Forums, Law Enforcement Institutions Caring for Children, Child Care Professionals, Child Care Professional Organizations, and Child Care Community Service Institutions.

Susanto stated, "We hope that the contribution from this BUMN will be beneficial for Indonesian children, particularly those who receive the 2022 KPAI Award. Yet again, we very gratfeful."

Edi Eko Cahyono, Assistant Deputy for Social and Environmental Responsibility at the Ministry of SOEs, stated that BUMN's service in the field of education in the form of laptop assistance during National Children's Day 2022 is also consistent with BUMN's aspirations to support the implementation of child protection.

"The Ministry of BUMN is attempting to reward our children through the BUMN Service Program, which is a BUMN Social and Environmental Responsibility. Eko explained that as a result, Jasa Marga and Telkom will have the chance to collaborate in order to assist this activity.

Lisye Octaviana, head of Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group, stated that this assistance is expected to assist and inspire the 2022 KPAI Award recipients, particularly in advancing and enhancing child protection in Indonesia.

"Jasa Marga wholeheartedly supports the efforts and commitments made by the 2022 KPAI Award winners for child protection. Hopefully, this assistance will be beneficial in the future, particularly for the advancement of children in Indonesia "Lisye stated.

According to Lisye, Suharsono, Senior Manager of Social and Environmental Empowerment at Telkom Community Development Center, the assistance provided is expected to be beneficial in assisting digital learning and increasing the learning motivation of the recipients of the 2022 KPAI Award.

"Telkom is deeply committed to supporting children's education as the nation's next generation." As a result, this assistance is provided in the framework of National Children's Day in collaboration with KPAI and Jasa Marga, and is in line with Telkom's BUMN Bakti program's priority, namely education. "This is especially important for the provision of ICT-based learning facilities for students in primary and secondary schools," Suharsono said.

The provision of this assistance is also a form of collaboration between SOEs in carrying out the BUMN Service Program, in accordance with the Ministry of SOEs' commitment to create BUMN companies that are sustainable and beneficial to the environment, social, and economic.
