Two new Latin American distribution partners expand Presstek's global footprint

Greenwich, CT - January 31, 2013 - Presstek, Inc., a leading supplier of digital offset printing solutions to the printing and communications industries, today announced that it has entered into agreements with two new distribution partners to better address the growing Latin American graphic arts market. GraphicSource C.A. will be distributing Presstek DI digital offset presses in Ecuador while Linder Representaciones S.A. will add DI presses to its distribution mix for Peru.

"We continue to expand our presence in Latin America," said Steve Brower, Director of Latin America Sales for Presstek. "The printing market in Latin America is healthy and growing. Presstek and its partners believe that DI presses have a significant role to play in its continued market expansion. The ability to cost-effectively produce high quality short run offset printing is a clear market differentiator for printers in the region as they work to meet the needs of a changing customer base."

Presstek's DI digital offset presses enable print service providers of all sizes to cost effectively meet increasing customer demand for high quality, short run color printing with a fast turnaround time while providing improved profit margins with a small environmental footprint.

"Both Dr. Tomas Rivas, General Manager at GraphicSource C.A., and Konrad Linder, CEO of Linder Representaciones S.A., understand how Presstek DI presses fit the requirements of their markets and anticipate strong acceptance of DI technology," added Brower. "I look forward to working with both of them and their companies moving forward."
