Personalis, Inc. Announces Corporate Headquarters Expansion to Accelerate Growth in Laboratory Operations and Research & Development

Personalis, Inc. announced that the company will relocate both its corporate headquarters and the Personalis Clinical Laboratory from Menlo Park to 6600 Dumbarton Circle in Fremont. The new facility will support the Company's future growth plans and provide greater capacity for laboratory operations and research & development activities. The relocation of the Company’s corporate headquarters to this new facility is expected to occur within the next 12 months. Personalis has signed a 13-year lease for the 100,000 square foot facility which is approximately double the amount of space of its current Menlo Park location. The new facility is intended to allow for expansion of the Company’s CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited laboratory for clinical testing to support biopharma customers and clinical diagnostic testing. In addition, the new space is intended to support the expansion of R&D efforts to bring leading edge products and services to the marketplace.
Personalis, Inc. is engaged in developing and marketing advanced cancer genomic tests and analytics. The Companyâs advanced genomic sequencing and analytics support the development of personalized cancer vaccines and other next generation cancer immunotherapies. Its products include NeXT Personal, ImmunoI DNeXT, NeXT Personal Dx, NeXT Dx, whole exome sequencing (WES), and whole genome sequencing (WGS). NeXT Personal is a tumor-informed liquid biopsy test for detection of minimal residual disease (MRD) and recurrence in cancer. NeXT Dx is a comprehensive tumor profiling test that unlocks the entire exome (DNA) and transcriptome (RNA) with matched tumor-normal analysis. The Company performed WGS on human samples for research projects, such as population sequencing initiatives. The Companyâs tests and analytics are used by pharmaceutical companies for translational research, biomarker discovery, the development of personalized cancer therapies.
