We have won the Best Candidate Engagement accolade in the RAD (Recruitment Advertising) Awards 2016. The award recognises the global HR consultancy's graduate recruitment work with supermarket chain Aldi.

The campaign, titled 'Careers Like No Other', aimed to attract high quality applicants to Aldi's competitive Area Manager scheme. It engaged prospective applicants in content-rich and interactive formats, utilising messaging that questioned candidates' character in order to 'self-screen' applicants. Aldi was keen to recruit graduates that had determination and grit, and this messaging was consistent throughout to attract the best candidates.

A successful campaign, Aldi engaged with 22 universities, created a Facebook following of 30,000 from a recruitment base of none, and saw applications increase by 150% - with 85% of candidates put through to final assessment.

Julie Towers said: 'We are thrilled to win the Best Candidate Engagement award for our work with Aldi. We continue to develop innovative and effective campaigns for our client's recruitment needs which challenge perceptions and deliver results. It is a huge testament to the success of our campaigns to be able to win the recognition of our peers in the industry through the RAD Awards.'

We were also shortlisted in four other categories at this year's RAD Awards for its work with GCHQ, the Met Police and Aldi.
