Omega Oil & Gas Limited announced that its CEO and Managing Director, Ms. Lauren Bennett has tendered her resignation and will step down from the role in October 2023. Ms. Bennett will remain with Omega to complete a handover to the Company's Non-Executive Chairman, Stephen Harrison, who will assume the role of Executive Chairman while a global search for a replacement CEO is conducted. Trevor Brown will continue in his advisory role during this period to assist Mr. Harrison.

Omega's cornerstone investor, Tri-Star, has made available its resources in both Australia and the US through an agreed Master Services Agreement to ensure the company continues to rapidly progress the lateral extension of the Canyon-1 well. Under Ms. Bennett's leadership Omega Oil and Gas has transformed from a start-up business to a fully funded, ASX-listed Company. Ms. Bennett led the Company's highly successful maiden drilling campaign in the Taroom trough, with results exceeding expectations both operationally, and with the discoveries at Canyon-1 and Canyon-2.
