NZ Windfarms Limited reported revenue and production results for the first quarter ended September 30, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported revenue from electricity sales NZD 1,490,000 against NZD 1,366,000 a year ago.

For the quarter, the company reported electricity generation output was 31,860 MWh against 28,294 MWh a year ago. Average turbine availability declined to 94.9% compared to 97.3% for the equivalent period in the previous financial year. The decline in availability is due to previously disclosed gearboxes issues which have caused three turbines to be out of production throughout the quarter awaiting refurbished gearboxes.

For the twelve month, the company rolling output of 133,000 MWh is above the 130,000 MWh forecast.
