Good Luck Corporation Named Partner for Destination Weddings

TOKYO (December 6, 2017) -In a joint communiqué released today the three business operators of Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa, a luxury beach resort now under construction in Onnason in Okinawa Prefecture, announced that plans are on track for the hotel to open its doors in August 2018, with rooms reservations scheduled to commence half a year earlier in February. The three companies are Tokyu Land Corporation (TSE 3289; president Yuji Okuma), NTT Urban Development Corporation (TSE 8933; president and CEO Hiroshi Nakagawa), and Milial Resort Hotels Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Oriental Land Co., Ltd.; TSE 4661; president Yumiko Takano).

Seragaki Hotel Management K.K. (president Tomoyuki Hayakawa), a joint venture of the three business operators, will oversee the hotel management while Hyatt International Asia Pacific Ltd., an associated company of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, will operate the hotel, the announcement stated. Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa is the first Hyatt beach resort to open in Japan.

Good Luck Corporation, a wedding specialist founded in 2003 with proven experience planning and executing upscale destination weddings in Hawaii, Guam, Bali, and Taiwan in addition to Okinawa, has been designated the official partner for the hotel's bridal offerings. With its prime location facing the East China Sea just one hour north of Naha Airport, Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa is poised to become an exciting contender in the Asia-Pacific market for destination weddings and honeymoons. The beach resort is midway between the northern and southernmost points of Okinawa Island, making travel to points of interest in either direction easy.
