Nord Anglia Education : Announces Second Campus For Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong Opening August 2017

HONG KONG, Sept.12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Nord Anglia Education, Inc. (NYSE: NORD), the world's leading premium schools organization, today announced that it will open a second campus for Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong (NAIS Hong Kong). Situated on Hong Kong Island, the second campus is expected to open in August 2017 with a capacity of approximately 520 places, subject to receipt of customary regulatory approvals.

Nord Anglia Education will invest approximately US$11 million in the new campus over the next 12 months to create a world-class learning environment, which will cater specifically to students from kindergarten to year 3 (ages 2-8).

The additional capacity at the new campus will enable NAIS Hong Kong to educate students from kindergarten through to year 13. The existing campus in Lam Tin will be enhanced to include iGCSE and IB Diploma facilities for students in years 10 to 13 and additional science labs will be created so that students can benefit from Nord Anglia Education's new collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
