Nexaira Wireless Inc., (?Nexaira?) (OTCBB: NXWI), announces the immediate availability of iPhone tethering firmware on the Nexaira Business Class II (BCII) 3G/4G Router. This BCII firmware upgrade supports Apple's iPhone® 4, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G tethering. Nexaira is proud to be partnered with 3Gstore.com for the distribution of the iPhone tethering option in the USA. 3Gstore.com has completed an extensive written and video review of the offering that can be viewed at http://www.evdoinfo.com/iphone.

How it works

Simply plug your iPhone into the Nexaira BCII Router using the standard iPhone USB cable and you can instantly create a secure Wi-Fi Hotspot. No need to sign a 2 year contract and pay in the range of $60/month for a data plan. Just enable or disable the tethering feature as needed and only pay when you need it. Unlike other solutions, this method does not require you to jailbreak your iPhone, which can void your warranty. All you need to do is enable tethering from AT&T's web site or the MyWireless App (free download, which adds $20/month to your bill). Once this is enabled, plug your iPhone 3G, 3GS or iPhone 4 into the Nexaira BCII Router and within a few seconds, your iPhone will indicate that it is enabling "Internet Tethering".

As an added bonus, the Nexaira BCII router will charge your iPhone while plugged in. Now a user can have a secure Wi-Fi hotspot that allows multiple devices such as the iPod Touch®, iPad? or any other Wi-Fi enabled device to use the Internet through a secure 3G connection rather than risk using a public Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Nexaira BCII router comes out of the box with Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA2). WPA2 uses AES encryption standards, the same encryption standards used for scrambling data between your computer and your banking institution.

While using your iPhone as a "data card", it maintains full phone functionality with the ability to make and receive calls, access installed apps, send/receive email/text messaging and access any web based applications. The Nexaira BCII router also provides Ethernet port connectivity for any device that requires wired internet access.

Uses for the BCII & iPhone Tethering:

Failover Solution for your home or work

If your DSL, Cable or T1 line ever fails you can use the Nexaira BCII router with iPhone tethering as your backup plan. Simply plug your iPhone into the Nexaira BCII router and quickly get reconnected to the web. With no need to sign up for a 2-year contract or expensive data plans, you can enable or disable the tethering feature at your convenience and only pay when needed.

Quick Hotspot for your home, hotel, business meeting or transportation

Take advantage of the Nexaira BCII router's versatility and iPhone tethering convenience by creating a mobile hotspot whenever you need it. Open the MyWireless app on the iPhone to enable tethering and connect the iPhone to the BCII router via USB cable. Within seconds you will have a secure wireless hotspot.

Allow iPad and iPod Touch internet access from your iPhone4

Enable a web connection on the iPad or iPod touch by plugging in your iPhone to the BCII router. Within seconds you will have easy access to the web from your Wi-Fi enabled devices. This is perfect for the vacationer with work to do or kids to entertain.

International Customers with iPhones

As long as your carrier officially supports tethering, all you need is the Nexaira BCII and appropriate international power adapter (sold separately) and you are ready to tether your iPhone and create a hotspot.

?This is a perfect example of how we are able to swiftly and effectively respond to the unique needs of progressive industry verticals by leveraging our ?Adaptive Technology Platform'. ATP allows us to deliver secure high availability wireless applications to a marketplace that has grown tired of the traditional wireline infrastructure, its high cost of installation, long lead times for in service dates, not to mention questionable performance and lengthy MTTR (mean time to repair). We are actively working on and seeing opportunities develop in many markets, including ATMs, Kiosks, Utilities Monitoring and Video Surveillance to mention a few, where a secure wireless solution makes so much more economic sense? said Mark Sampson, CEO of Nexaira Wireless.
