New Silkroutes Group Limited provided earnings guidance for the six months ended December 31, 2020. Based on the preliminary figures, the group expected to record a net loss after tax for first half of 2021 as compared to the net profit after tax for first half of 2020. The net loss after tax for first half of 2021 was mainly attributable to decline in revenue from reduced trading volume with a higher corresponding increase in purchases from the energy trading business, and increase in other operating expenses incurred by the Group.
