FCC Aqualia, S.A. completed the acquisition of 49% stake in Severomoravské vodovody a kanalizace Ostrava and Aqualia infraestructuras inzenyring from Mitsui & Co., Ltd..

FCC Aqualia, S.A. agreed to acquire the remaining 49% stake in Severomoravské vodovody a kanalizace Ostrava a.s. and Aqualia infraestructuras inzenyring, s.r.o. from Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (TSE:8031) for €92.5 million on November 20, 2017. The transaction is subject to approval of the antitrust authorities of the Czech Republic. The transaction is not expected to have any significant impact on the earnings of FCC Aqualia. Jaime Velázquez, Didac Severino, Alex Cook, Michal Jašek, Jakub Veselý and Jan Dobrý of Clifford Chance acted as legal advisors for Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (TSE:8031) on January 17, 2018. The transaction has been approved by ÚOHS, the Czech antitrust body.
