Mission Community Bank provides $100,000 for Entrepreneurial Support Through MCSC

San Luis Obispo - Tom Dobyns, Mission Community Bank Chief Executive Officer, announced a $100,000 grant to Mission Community Services Corporation (MCSC) and its Women's Business Center for the purpose of strengthening entrepreneurial services in San Luis Obispo, Monterey and Kern Counties.
"We are very pleased to support small business and entrepreneurs with the technical assistance that MCSC and its Women's Business Center offers," said Dobyns. "Over the past five years, MCSC has provided one-on-one consulting services to over 725 individuals or businesses, has hosted over 8,300 individuals in business workshops and has assisted in bringing close to $10,000,000 in economic development to the Central California," he said.
The funding, according to David Ryal, MCSC Program Director, will be used to enhance the services provided by the Women's Business Center, including expansion of services into Monterey and Kern Counties.

The Women's Business Center is a program of Mission Community Services
Corporation and funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The corporate office is located in San Luis Obispo, with outreach offices in Bakersfield and King City.
