VIVENDI WITHDRAWS URGENT REQUEST TO

THE REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE COURT FOR

THE SUSPENSION OF THE AGCOM RESOLUTION

Following the rejection on 8 January of the single-judge precautionary measures by the Regional Administrative Court of Lazio (TAR), Vivendi has definitively withdrawn its request for the suspension of the AgCOM resolution.

With an application filed on Monday 13 January, the legal team of Vivendi withdrew the request presented to the Regional Administrative Court of Lazio (TAR) against the AgCom, regarding measures that were to have been examined in the Administrative Court Chamber convened for tomorrow, 15 January 2020

Once again, Vivendi urgently initiated legal action bodies before changing its mind and thereby unnecessarily expanding the schedule of hearings, demonstrating the speciousness of such initiatives.

It is the hope of Mediaset that, after today's about turn, the capricious use of legal appeals in courts across Europe, with the costs and time this involves, will definitively come to an end.
