VANCOUVER, - Mediterranean Resources Ltd. ("MNR" or the "Company") (NEX: MNR.H: OTC Pink: MNRUF) will not be proceeding with the private placement previously announced on August 21, 2014 and August 25, 2014.  The Companyis currently considering alternative financing.  The Company would also like to announce that Alex Gostevskikh has resigned as a Director of the Company for personal reasons. The Company would like to thank him for his service and wishes him well.
