MWV to Release Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2011 Results and Host Conference Call

RICHMOND, VA (January 6, 2012)-MeadWestvaco Corporation (NYSE: MWV), a global leader in packaging, will release its fourth quarter and full year 2011 results on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, before the market opens.
The company will host its results conference call on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern) with access available via Internet and telephone. The event is scheduled for one hour. John A. Luke, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer; James A. Buzzard, president; E.
