Kuo Toong International Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 1,179.05 million compared to TWD 945.33 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 86.81 million compared to net loss of TWD 28.65 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.35 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.12 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.35 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.12 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 3,371.49 million compared to TWD 2,387.18 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 311.13 million compared to TWD 35.01 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.25 compared to TWD 0.14 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.25 compared to TWD 0.14 a year ago.
KUO TOONG INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the engineering contracting business. The Company provides engineering contracting services for water transmission pipelines, waste treatment pipelines and others, as well as the manufacture and sale of prestressed concrete cylinder pipes (PCCPs), reinforced concrete pipes (RCPs), prestressed concrete non-cylinder pipes (PSCPs), jacking pipes (JCPs), ductile iron pipes (DIPs), welded steel pipes (WSPs), stainless steel pipes and steel pipe joints, among others. It also involves in sea water desalination business. The Company principally operates its business in domestic market.
