The Corporate Equality Index rates employers providing crucial policies and benefits needed for LGBTQ+ workers to thrive and live life authentically. Employers that have earned a high rating on the CEI have satisfied all of the criteria for that year and are recognized as a "Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality."
"We are proud that the Corporate Equality Index paved the way for countless LGBTQ+ workers in America and abroad. But there is still more to do, which is why we are raising the bar yet again to create more equitable workplaces and a better tomorrow for LGBTQ+ workers everywhere," said Jay Brown, Human Rights Campaign Senior Vice President of Programs, Research and Training.

Kin + Carta has a dedicated Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Awareness (IDEA) team led by Shereen Barros, who was recently named to Mogul's Top 100 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leaders In 2021. The company's IDEA and LGBTQIA+ affinity group priorities for 2022 include educating and training employees on DEI as well as allyship, improving internal policies, and looking outside the company to expand community networks.
