KidariStudio, Inc. (KOSE:A020120) agreed to acquire an additional 23.2% stake in DELITOON SAS from group of shareholders for KRW 2.6 billion on December 13, 2019. Pursuant to the transaction, Kidari will purchase 369 shares and will increase its shareholding to 1,328 shares constituting 83.36% stake in DELITOON. On December 20, 2019, the terms of the transaction were revised. KidariStudio will now acquire 365 shares and will increase its shareholding to 1,32 shares constituting 83.11% stake in Delitoon. The consideration will be payable in cash from reserved funds. DELITOON SAS had total assets of KRW 18.7 billion in 2018. The transaction is expected to be complete by December 24, 2019. Samdo Accounting Firm acted as the external evaluation body.

It provides solutions for creating rich media contents deliverables for multi-channels including tablet personal computers, smart phones and other interactive electronic devices. It operates two business divisions. Its Quark division specializes in domestic operation and marketing for QuarkXPress products and Quark solutions, which are software used in desktop publishing (DTP) electronic publishing and editing sectors. Its E-Book division provides conversion solutions, which enables automatic conversion of original publication made by QuarkXPress to ePub files. On February 20, 2014, the Company sold its entire shares of Smartphy, a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacturing of semiconductor development.
