Ethiris VMS 14.2 - Launched today
Ethiris NVRN Rack Solutions is Kentima's popular turnkey solutions for complete video surveillance systems where Kentima delivers a 19" rack with a number of Ethiris NVRN configured in a cluster, switch, NAS for redundant video storage and UPS for uninterruptible power. We have now developed the Ethiris Monitoring Dashboard, which is a WideQuick application that runs locally in the rack and monitors the NVRs, switch, NAS and UPS with a clear graphical interface that is also available remotely via a web browser.
Since it is of the utmost importance that the clocks in a video surveillance system are synchronised and show the correct time, we have introduced a number of measures to help Ethiris users with this. Ethiris Server now sets the correct time in all cameras connected via ONVIF, which is by far the most common way to connect cameras. In addition, the cameras are automatically configured to point to Ethiris Server's NTP Server so that the clocks in the cameras are kept in sync over time. We have also introduced a new alarm that is activated if the clocks between different Ethiris Server and Ethiris Client in the same system diff more than 30 seconds.

Ethiris SDK aims to provide a powerful tool for developers who want to integrate an external system with Ethiris VMS to gain access to advanced video functionality.
