JSL S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was BRL 1,177.68 million compared to BRL 733.23 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 83.08 million compared to BRL 29.62 million a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was BRL 2,968.22 million compared to BRL 2,008.66 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 216.53 million compared to BRL 150.08 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 1.0256. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 1.0256. Basic earnings per share was BRL 1.0256 compared to BRL 0.7082 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was BRL 1.0256 compared to BRL 0.7082 a year ago.
JSL SA is a Brazil-based company engaged in the logistics sector. The Company provides services through six business lines: Road Cargo Transportation and Dedicated Road Cargo Logistics, involved in the supply chain and management of the information of the logistics chain of the customer; Commodity Logistics, which offers customized solutions for the paper and cellulose, mining and sugar-energy sectors; Internal Logistics, that consist on the internal handling of raw materials, products, inventory management and assembly line supply of the customer; Urban Distribution, which includes supply of points of sale and management of the return of packaging; Warehousing Services, dedicated to the reception, storage and dispatch of goods and inventory management; and Chartering, which provides transportation services for employees of companies that are customers through the other services provided by the Company.
