NEWS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JAZZ ARRANGES $120,000 PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Jazz Resources Inc. is pleased to announce a non-brokered private placement of up to $120,000
at a price of $0.08 per Unit. Each Unit will be comprised of one common share and one share
purchase warrant. Each $0.12 Warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional
common share at the price of $0.12 for a period of 18 months after Closing.

The proceeds will be used to prepare the Camborne mill for production and to continue
developing a new tailings facility at the Camborne site. In addition the funds will be used for
general working capital and to maintain the road to the Teddy Glacier property in anticipation
of hauling more ore down to the Camborne mill site during 2017.

The proposed private placement is subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance. All shares
issued pursuant to the offering, and any shares issued pursuant to the exercise of warrants will
be subject to a four-month hold period from the closing date.

The Company has recently reviewed several projects with near term production possibilities.
Negotiations with each project is at an early stage.

J. T. Shearer, M.Sc., P.Geo. (BC & Ontario) President/CEO, is the Qualified Person as defined by
NI 43-101 who supervised the preparation of the technical material in this release.
