NOVI, Mich., Jan. 12, 2016
- When an accident left U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Brian Snell with a paralyzed left leg, he couldn't take his kids to the bus stop let alone enjoy the Michigan hunting and gaming season like he once did. Then ITC Holdings employees stepped in to raise the funds to get Snell his own all-terrain, specialty wheelchair. Now he's not only back at the bus stop, he's tying his trophy buck to the back of his chair and dragging it out of the woods. His story was recently profiled on Michigan Out-of-Doors TV, the segment starts at the 15:51 mark of the video.

ITC presented funds for nine chairs to the Paralyzed Veterans of America on Veterans Day in 2015.

Joe Welch, chairman, president and CEO of ITC Holdings Corp. said, 'the work that the PVA performs for veterans - not only helping them with mobility through the use of track chairs, but helping them maintain their quality of life by reintroducing them to sports as well as doing research on spinal cord injuries is critical to better treatment. I am grateful for our generosity toward this cause. I know it's one that many of us hold very near to our hearts.'

To support wounded veterans please donate to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
