Organised by the Brick Development Association (BDA), the Brick Awards seek to shine a spotlight on some of the most innovative and dynamic uses of brick in contemporary architecture. The 2024 awards will take place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on November 6.

Ibstock's products have been used in so many inspiring buildings spanning such a diverse range of project types from housing developments of varying scales to commercial, public, education and refurbishment projects which have been shortlisted for this year's ceremony. Indeed, Ibstock products were used in the most shortlisted projects among the widest number of award categories - highlighting the diversity of applications and developments Ibstock bricks are suitable for.

Among the shortlisted projects include an outdoor amphitheatre near Tower Bridge, London; Greenock Ocean Terminal in Renfrewshire; the historic Elephant Tea Rooms in Sunderland, and phase two of a large housing development at Royal Eden Docks in Newham.

John Lovatt at Ibstock, commented: "We are delighted that our bricks have been featured within 43 nominated projects across a varied range of schemes helping to enhance the aesthetic appeal of these buildings. The developments range from an individual housing development through to largescale urban regeneration projects, as well as standalone public buildings including schools, hospitals and universities.
