Scott Ranson Joins Hanger, Inc. as Chief Information Officer

Hanger, Inc. announced that Scott Ranson has joined as its Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective July 20, 2015. Mr. Ranson joins Hanger after 14 years' experience as the CIO for Brookdale Senior Living Inc. During this time, Mr. Ranson successfully led several enterprise resource planning (ERP) and electronic medical records (EMR) implementations, and built a successful information technology team.

Hanger, Inc. is a national provider of products and services that assist in enhancing or restoring the physical capabilities of patients with disabilities or injuries. The Company provides orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) services, distribute O&P devices and components, manage O&P networks, and provide therapeutic solutions to patients and businesses in acute, post-acute, and clinic settings. It operates through two segments: Patient Care, and Products & Services. Its Patient Care segment is primarily comprised of Hanger Clinic, which specializes in comprehensive, outcomes-based design, fabrication, and delivery of custom O&P devices through approximately 760 patient care clinics and 115 satellite locations in 47 states and the District of Columbia. It also provides payor network contracting services to other O&P providers through this segment. Its Products & Services segment is comprised of its distribution services and therapeutic solutions businesses.
