GET (3519 TT) announces operating result of 4Q 2016

GET (3519TT) announces the Company's operating result for 4Q 2016 (please refer to the tables below):

Net sales for 4Q2016 reached NT$ 2.69 billion, increased by 5% QoQ. Gross margin rate was

-12%, improved 63% comparing to previous quarter. Operating loss was NT$ 457 million, improved by 56% QoQ. Net loss was NT$ 591 million, improved by 38% QoQ. EPS was NT$

-1.28. Net sales for the year of 2016 reached NT$ 15.3 billion, gross margin rate was -1%, and EPS was NT$ -2.14.

Wafer ASP was raised in 4Q16 but not able to make GET profitable yet. To extend business in creative product lines, GET plans to raise fund as below:

1. GET plans to raise funds by

2. Issuance of no more than 80 million new common shares

3. Or issuance of no more than 13,000 convertible bonds (Par Value per CB: NT$100,000)

4. The funds shall be raised within one year starting from AGM approval date, with no more than two private placements.

5. Use of proceeds: to strengthen financial structure for working capital and long-term operation.

6. The proposal is subject to approval by the Company's annual general meeting (AGM). GET AGM is scheduled to hold on June 16, 2017.
