Symantec Corporation announces an Equity Buyback for $1,000 million worth of its shares.

The Board of Directors of Symantec Corporation (NasdaqGS:SYMC) authorized a share repurchase program on January 25, 2012. Under the program, Symantec will repurchase up to $1 billion worth of its shares. The share repurchase program does not have a scheduled expiration date.
