GCA Savvian Corporation (the "Company") announces that it has named Mr. Richard C. Kramlich, the renowned US venture capitalist, as an outside director of the Company, at the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders March 30th. Mr. Kramlich will be the second outside director of GCA Savvian and the first from the United States.

Mr. Kramlich brings a long history of working with growth companies in several industries and will provide thoughtful guidance and perspective to the board. His addition to the board will help the Company further elevate its strengths in connecting Japanese blue-chip companies with the innovative technologies of Silicon Valley.

Mr. Kramlich is the Co-founder of the global venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates, Inc. (“NEA”) and is currently Chairman of NEA Management Company. He began his venture career in 1969 as a General Partner with Arthur Rock and Co., after nine years with Kroger Co. and Gardner & Preston Moss Company (currently Invesco). Since co-founding NEA in 1978, he has become one of the most legendary venture capitalists in the world. He received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in History from Northwestern University.
