Fortune REIT reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2018. For the period, the company reported revenue of HKD 978,062,000 against HKD 956,669,000 a year ago. Net property income was HKD 748,584,000 against HKD 727,024,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation and transactions with unitholders were HKD 4,548,423,000 against HKD 1,544,369,000 a year ago. Income available for distribution to unitholders was HKD 505,181,000 against HKD 487,324,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per unit was 232.05 cents against 75.24 cents a year ago. Net asset value per unit attributable to unitholders was HKD 16.09 against HKD 14.05 a year ago. The increase in total revenue and net property income was mainly due to positive rental reversion but partially offset by the divestment of Provident Square. Excluding the effect of Provident Square, total revenue and net property income for the 16 properties increased by 4.2% and 4.6% year-on-year respectively.
