MOSCOW, July 11 (Reuters) - Russia has seized companies belonging to Silgan Holdings Austria GmbH and Silgan Metal Packaging Mitterdorf GmbH and placed them under temporary management, a decree signed by President Vladimir Putin showed on Thursday.
The move follows similar asset seizures involving Western firms including Carlsberg, Fortum and Uniper in retaliation for steps taken against Russian companies abroad. (Reporting by Reuters; Writing by Alexander Marrow; Editing by Mark Trevelyan)
