Supply Chain Clerk

Location: Calgary, AB

FLYHT looking for a high performing Supply Chain Clerk for a 6-month contract to support staff at our Calgary headquarters. This position is ideal for someone who has good understanding and experience purchasing, shipping, receiving and performing general store clerk duties.

This role is involved in the purchasing, transportation, storage, inventory control, ordering parts, repairs, kitting, packaging, shipping and customer service. The position helps the organization control expenses, satisfy product delivery and maximize profits. This role will physically receive product and ensures proper and accurate tracking in the ERP system (NetSuite). The position also ensures inventory is catalogued and maintains inventory for production needs. Responsibilities

  • Purchasing following established procedures and processes
  • Kitting, packaging and shipping all requests for delivery
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies
  • Completing shipping and receiving (physically and in ERP) as committed
  • Inventory accuracy and control of the Stores area
  • Proper storage, labeling, packaging, and sorting of all materials
  • Organization and upkeep of the shipping and receiving area

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving, supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management would be considered an asset
  • Sense of urgency and ability to manage conflicting deadlines and commitments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, including in the presence of interruptions
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well with minimum supervision
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and stoop
  • Team player
