Fidia is the best performer among small-cap companies, with a 3.3 percent rise that propels the stock toward EUR1.30 per share.

LVenture gains 2.8% and seeks to reverse declines of 0.6% in the last month, 8.9% in the last six months, and 8.6% in the last year.

FTSE SMALL CAP - LOSERS

----------

Netweek gives up 3.9% and records the steepest decline among Milan-listed small caps. The stock has risen 748% in the last six months and 587% in the last year.

Autostrade Meridionali gives up 3.2%. The company rallied a lot on the stock market in the last period but also made it known that it had no elements to justify the rises.
