FalconStor Software Inc. announced it has appointed David Bull as technical sales director for the Australia/New Zealand region, tasked with expanding market opportunity for FreeStor(R), the industry's first truly horizontal converged data services platform. An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience including software-defined storage, virtualization, and cloud markets, Bull has helped many organizations harness and control their storage challenges. As an independent consultant for much of his career, he worked with end users, integrators, and vendors, gaining a unique 360-degree view of the value and business propositions that emerging technologies represent in enterprise. Most recently, Bull was instrumental in establishing DataCore Software's software-defined storage business across Australia and New Zealand. At DataCore Bull was responsible for building the company's customer base, setting up a distribution network and partner eco-systems.
