Eruma Plc : Contract win in Middle East

Eruma plc, the AIM traded specialist provider of counter terrorism, intruder prevention products and intelligent lighting, is pleased to announce that it has won a c. US$270,000 contract to install  its Secur™ range of security blinds at a major international Non Government Organisation ('NGO') in Yemen. 

Under the terms of the contract, agreed through its security blinds division ('Security Blinds'), Eruma will provide high level security through the installation of its proprietary security blinds throughout the international development agency's office building in Yemen.  The contract stipulates that the system must withstand extreme pressure to protect the windows, and was won in a tender situation against some significant security companies.

It is anticipated that the installation, which will be undertaken by Eruma, will be completed in the first half of 2012. The Secur™ product is an ideal solution for counter terrorism due to the high level of protection it provides buildings to mitigate the effects of a bomb blast.  In addition to protecting the windows themselves, the occupants and contents, Secur™ is also effective against intruders.
