07 January, 2014 du launches Let's Talk, a new integrated live communication platform for the people of the UAE

First session to be held with Osman Sultan on 13 January

du understands that the fast-paced evolution of the communications industry can be overwhelming for some; after all, new developments and technologies are frequently being introduced to make people's lives more convenient. To demystify the industry and help make sense of the world of communications, du has launched "Let's Talk", a new direct integrated communication platform that provides access to the company's senior management and communication experts during live broadcast sessions. The pioneering initiative is being inaugurated as part of du's efforts to further empower the people of the UAE with telecommunication knowledge.

In line with this, du invites the people of the UAE to participate in its inaugural "Let's Talk" session, hosted by Osman Sultan, CEO, du. The live event - which takes place from 8-9pm on 13 January 2014 - will see Sultan thoroughly discussing the issue of Mobile Number Portability (MNP). You can participate in the session by submitting a question or comment using #letstalk, or by watching the live broadcast.

"Today, for most people, the communication landscape has become increasingly complex," said Sultan. "That is precisely why we have launched the new communication platform "Let's Talk" - which sparks an interactive, engaging conversation between everyone in the UAE and the members of our senior management and experts. The initiative will feature a series of integrated live sessions and aim to address and tackle issues that people may want to raise."
Mark your calendars for the first of these live one-on-one sessions hosted by Sultan on Monday 13 January from 8.00 to 9.00 p.m. The topic discussed is one of today's most important telecommunication issues: Mobile Number Portability.
Each Let's Talk session will be broadcasted simultaneously via different media channels including:
1. Online: On du's YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/theduchannel)
2. Mobile Phones (either smart or feature handsets) through My World - which is a SIM portal that provides du customer with a variety of content and can be accessed by either clicking MyWorld icon on the mobile or through the link: Myworld.du.ae.
3.  du TV.

The sessions will also be recorded and available on du's YouTube channel and du TV after broadcast, for viewing convenience.
Anyone can interact with the host by sending their question on the pre-selected topic through du's social media channels - @dutweets on Twitter, Facebook (www.facebook.com/du) and Youtube (www.youtube.com/theduchannel). Queries should include #letstalk to be picked up during the session.
