Ecotel Communication Ag reported earnings results for the first quarter of 2012. For the period, the company's revenues increased by 14% to EUR 23.7 million against EUR 20.8 million in 2010 due to strong uptake of wholesale revenues while B2B revenues decreased by 4% year on year basis. EBITDA was up 6% to EUR 1.8 million, corresponding to an EBITDA margin of 8%. EBIT amounted to EUR 1.0 million against EUR 0.9 million in 2010. Net income came in at EUR 0.5 million, corresponding to earnings per share of EUR 0.14 against EUR 0.11 in 2011. Net debt remained stable at EUR 3.0 million due to delayed payments of two major customers. Ecotel's equity ratio rose from 47% to 50%. The company expects the performance for the current 2012 business year to be very positive. This outlook is reinforced by the figures stating expected revenues between EUR 80 million and EUR 90 million and an EBITDA of EUR 6.0 million to 7.0 million.
