Through the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, the French State announced that, at the close of trading on January 19, it held, in concert with EPIC Bpifrance, almost 3.48 billion shares and just under 215.3 million OCEANE bonds in EDF.

With 89.39% of the share capital and 92.71% of the theoretical voting rights, the French State has crossed the threshold of 90% of the share capital and theoretical voting rights on a fully diluted basis (i.e. assuming conversion of the OCEANEs in its possession).

As a result, it will be in a position, at the end of the offer, to implement the squeeze-out on the EDF shares as soon as it converts the OCEANEs already in its possession, as it announced on November 22.
