DIXY : installs two hundred online checkout terminals in two days

DIXY GROUP INSTALLS TWO HUNDRED ONLINE CHECKOUT TERMINALS IN TWO DAYS Moscow, Russian Federation, January 25, 2017 DIXY Group has started massively equipping its stores with new model checkout terminals in line with Federal Law No. 54-FZ. Over two hundred devices were installed in Moscow Region stores in two days, and their quantity will reach one thousand until the end of the month. Every one of the installed terminals is already sending receipt data to the Federal Tax Service in online mode.

All new stores are already being opened with state-of-the-art equipment, and checkout terminals in other stores will be modernized or replaced by July 1.

Switching to online checkout registers will help to simplify the Company's financial accounting system and its relations with fiscal bodies. In the past, settlements used to be stored in the cash register memory and transferred to a tax body once a year on physical media. Now every settlement is automatically transferred to the Federal Tax Service of Russia server at the time of its completion. Besides, checkout terminal registration and interactions with tax authorities will also be possible through the FTS website.

"The project allows to increase market transparency and reduce annual checkout terminal costs. First, it becomes possible for both the business and Federal Tax Service authorities to see all transactions without delay in real time; second, customers will be able to check any of their receipts online," says DIXY Group Director of Legal Department and Compliance Control and member of the Management Board Artyom Afanasiev.

New receipts will contain a QR code which a customer can scan by means of an official FTS application to get a copy of their receipt by sms or e-mail.
