Increase in Interest in Law Central

The Directors of Easton Investments Limited (Easton or the Company) advise that an agreement has been executed for the purchase by Easton of an additional 32% equity interest in Law Central Pty Limited (Law Central or the Business).

Easton purchased an initial 12.6% equity interest in Law Central in June 2015 and, at the same time, entered into a distribution agreement allowing Easton to offer Law Central's wide range of on-line documents to the Company's broad network of accountants and advisers.

This further transaction will take Easton's shareholding in Law Central to 44.6% and involves a consideration of $444K.

The Managing Director of Easton, Mr. Greg Hayes, said that the opportunity to increase the Company's shareholding in Law Central confirms our confidence in contributing to the growth of the Business and allows us to play a stronger role in its future direction and development.

"Whilst Law Central remains a relatively small company, its product suite and on-line distribution format are totally consistent with Easton's distribution businesses. The ability to grow Law Central into a major on-line distributor of services to the accounting profession is highly attractive."

Law Central's senior management team remain in place and continue to be shareholders in the Business.

Easton continues to hold an option to further increase its shareholding in Law Central over the next 18 months by up to an additional 17%, subject to the achievement of performance targets contained in the original distribution agreement.
