Digital Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund announced unaudited earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net profit was THB 1,345,222,000 against THB 1,306,110,000 a year ago. EPS was THB 0.2316 against THB 0.2248 a year ago. Total income was THB 1,628,660,077 against THB 1,572,197,288 a year ago. Net investment income was THB 1,402,280,989 against THB 1,333,566,826 a year ago. Total net loss from investments was THB 57,059,192 against THB 27,456,385 a year ago.
For the six months, the company reported net profit was THB 8,220,716,000 against THB 15,955,888,000 a year ago. EPS was THB 1.4154 against THB 2.7472 a year ago. Total income was THB 3,251,507,232 against THB 3,134,891,158 a year ago. Net investment income was THB 2,753,307,173 against THB 2,627,525,120 a year ago. Total net gain from investments was THB 5,467,408,717 against THB 13,328,363,147 a year ago. Net cash provided by operating activities was THB 2,847,489,608 against THB 2,389,049,129 a year ago. Cash paid for purchase of fixed assets and intangible assets was THB 6,616,749 against THB 111,699,597 a year ago.
Digital Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund is a Thailand-based closed-end infrastructure fund. The Fund operates through investments in the telecommunications infrastructure business and securities segment. The Fund invests in telecommunication infrastructure assets such as telecommunication towers, fiber optic cable system, transmission equipment, broadband system and/or revenue incurred from the assets with coverage nationwide. Its infrastructure funds are invested in various businesses, such as Transportation system by rail or pipe, electricity, plumbing, road, expressway, or concession, telecommunications or information technology infrastructure and communication, alternative energy, waste management, airport or airfield, and water management system or irrigation. The Fund is managed by SCB Asset Management Company Limited.
