Deltek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PROJ) announced today that The SI Organization, Inc. (the SI), formerly an operating unit within Lockheed Martin called the Enterprise Integration Group (EIG), has selected Deltek to manage its financial management and human resources infrastructure and processes. The SI is a leading provider of full life cycle, mission-focused systems engineering and integration services, and has recently commenced operations as an independent company. The SI selected Deltek as a cornerstone of its infrastructure because Deltek's solutions offer broad and deep government contracting capabilities out-of-the-box, leading to fast implementations and a superior return on investment (ROI).

As a newly independent company, the SI needed to develop a flexible and agile corporate infrastructure from the ground up. To accelerate its corporate strategy, the SI will utilize a full-range of Deltek's government contracting solutions to drive improved business performance across its dynamic organization. Deltek Costpoint will automate the government contractor's financial management processes, Deltek Costpoint HR will power its human resources initiatives, and Deltek Performance Management will enable the company to gain real-time insight into the performance of its fast growing business operations.

"We chose Deltek software because of its proven track record,? said Bill Graham, President and CEO of the SI. ?Our unique modeling, simulation and analysis capabilities, combined with our world-class engineering staff, deliver solutions that maximize mission value for the Federal Government. To achieve our growth objectives and support our workforce, we turned to Deltek to deliver the HR and financial infrastructure we need to manage our personnel and to automate our back-office, and we are confident that our Deltek implementation will be complete in the aggressive timeframe that we defined.?

?We are thrilled to welcome the SI as a new Deltek customer,? said Kevin Parker, President and CEO of Deltek. ?We were impressed by the organizational maturity of the SI, which became a standalone company just over one month ago. The SI's leadership team had well-defined requirements, negotiated a strong deal, and was focused on accelerating their transition. Deltek will deliver the industry knowledge, functional capabilities, and rapid deployment that the SI needs to support its corporate objectives. The SI's selection of Deltek was another signature win for our organization, and we are looking forward to working very closely with the SI throughout its Deltek implementation and beyond.?
