Schiff says Cipollone was 'in the loop' in Ukraine pressure scheme

Schiff, referring to additional reporting on an unpublished book by Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton, said Cipollone was present when the president allegedly asked Bolton to help with a campaign to pressure Ukraine to investigate his political rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

"Well, there’s a new fact, which indicates that Mr. Cipollone was among those who were in the loop,” said Schiff, adding that it was “yet another reason why we ought to hear from witnesses.”
