Ralf Nordén takes over as CEO of Dannemora Mineral tomorrow, Thursday 13 December. Ralf Nordén comes from the position of CEO at Sapa Heat Transfer. He has previously held various positions within SSAB, most recently Executive Vice President of SSAB Oxelösund, responsible for production and logistics, and prior to that head of SSAB's operations in North and South America.

"The change of CEO is a natural progression in that Dannemora Mineral has entered a new phase," says Dannemora Mineral's Chairman Nils Bernhard. Until this spring, the focus was on the investment programme and its funding. Now the focus has shifted to production and sales, which requires a different type of experience and expertise."

Consequently, Staffan Bennerdt, who has successfully led the development of Dannemora since 2008, is relinquishing his position as CEO but will remain indefinitely as an advisor to the company's new CEO and its board.

"Staffan has done a fantastic job and his profile was perfect during the phase the company has now completed. Without Staffan, we would hardly be where we are today," says Nils Bernhard.

Ralf Nordén's position as President and CEO of Dannemora Mineral is likely to be limited to a maximum of one year. The Board has therefore initiated a search for a longer-term CEO solution.
