ClearStar, Inc. Announces the Appointment of Jennifer Balleza as the Chief Financial Officer

ClearStar, Inc. announced the appointment of Ms. Jennifer Balleza as the Company's Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect. Ms. Balleza, who has been serving as the company's Interim Chief Financial Officer since January 2019, is not being appointed to the Board of Directors at this time. Ms. Balleza, a Certified Public Accountant, joined ClearStar as Corporate Controller in 2014 ahead of the Company's IPO on AIM. In this role, she was responsible for managing the company's financial reporting, compliance and accounting. Ms. Balleza joined the company from Aprio LLP, an Atlanta-based business consultancy and accounting firm. During her tenure at Aprio of over 14 years, she progressed through several audit roles before being promoted to a senior manager in the assurance practice. Ms. Balleza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas, and her professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a former board member of TAG Corporate Development, which is an industry forum of the Technology Association of Georgiathat aims to support the growth of the technology industry in Georgia US.
