Chia Yi Steel Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 235.948 million compared to TWD 180.886 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 4.424 million compared to TWD 17.815 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 238,000 compared to net loss of TWD 11.822 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.01 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.26 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 475.413 million compared to TWD 343.406 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 3.476 million compared to operating loss of TWD 40.144 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2.104 million compared to net loss of TWD 32.741 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.05 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.73 a year ago.

The Company primarily involves in the manufacture and precision processing of iron products, which are applied in mechanical parts, electric motor parts, automobile parts, oil pressure parts and other hardware and spare parts, among others.
